HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Big South Conference has selected High Point University as the host for the 2026 Big South Outdoor Track & Field Championships. HPU will welcome seven Big South schools to Vert Stadium for the three-day meet beginning on May 11 and continuing through May 13. This will be High Point's fifth time in the last decade hosting the Championships at Vert Stadium (2024, 2022, 2021, & 2018).
The meet is free admission for all fans attending. Please stay out of the competition area if you are not a coach or student-athlete competing with a team. Concessions will be open all three days.

High Point History at the Big South Championships
The Panther men and women have swept the outdoor conference championship titles for the last five years. Both the men and women won their first Big South titles in 2021 and have kept the trophy in High Point since. The Panthers recently swept their fifth straight indoor title at the Big South Indoor Championships in February.

HPU Marks Holding Up in Regional Standings
Several High Point athletes have posted marks through the outdoor season that are ranked in the top-48 in the NCAA East region. The top-48 marks at the end of the regular season will qualify for the first round of the NCAA Championships. As a team, High Point ranks 10th in the region for the men and 13
th for the women.
