The purpose of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to promote efficient communication between the Department of Athletics administration, the Faculty Athletics Committee, and the student-athlete population. The student-athletes have the opportunity to provide suggestions on programs designed to serve their needs. This committee serves as the voice for the student-athletes, with special emphasis on the following: NCAA legislation and its effect on student-athletes, academic achievement, CHAMPS/Life Skills programs, community outreach programs, and welfare issues and other general concerns facing student-athletes at High Point University.
