Robertson, Keys, and Bockrath Selected to Big South All-Decade Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Three Panthers were named to the Big South Women's Basketball All-Decade Team presented by Hercules Tires the league office announced Thursday afternoon (June 11). Representing High Point University are Stacia Robertson, Kaylah Keys, and Emma Bockrath.
 
 
Stacia Robertson | Grand Island, Neb. | 2011-15
Robertson was a two-time All-Big South First Team selection and was named the Player of the Year in her final season, becoming the second player in program history to win the award at the time. She was named to the All-Tournament Team twice and was HPU's representative on the All-Academic Team in the 2013-14 season. Robertson holds High Point's record for most Big South Player of the Week awards with six in her career and was an honorable mention on the AP All-America Team in 2014-15.
 
Robertson holds High Point's record for shooting percentage with a minimum of eight makes, going a perfect 8-8 at Charleston Southern on Jan. 8, 2015. She also tops the list for career field goal percentage among players with a minimum of 200 makes, going 485-972 in her career for a shooting percentage of .499. Robertson ranks seventh in HPU's D1 history in points (1,274), second in rebounds (801), third in blocks (214) and steals (217), and is second in points per game (13.7 PPG) and rebounds per game (8.6).
 
Kaylah Keys | Memphis, Tenn. | 2013-17
Keys was a three-time All-Big South selection and was named the Freshman of the Year for the 2013-14 season, High Point's most recent winner of the award. She was named to the All-Tournament Team her freshman season and tied a school record with seven Freshman of the Week awards. In her final season, Keys was nominated to the WBCA Good Works Team, HPU's only nomination for the award.
 
Keys is the leading scorer in High Point Division I history with 1,869 points, putting her fifth on HPU's all-time list and eighth on the Big South's career points list. She also tops the Panthers' D1 lists for points per game (14.8 PPG), field goals made (629), three-pointers made (255), free throws made (356), and games played (126). Her 115 starts are the second-most in High Point's D1 history, as is her .826 free throw percentage. Her 538 points scored during her freshman year are an HPU D1 single-season record and she appears on the single-season scoring list two more times for her sophomore and junior seasons.
 
Emma Bockrath | Dayton, Ohio | 2015-19
Bockrath received postseason recognition from the Big South all four years she wore the Purple and White, making the All-Freshman Team in 2015-16 and then racking up three First Team All-Big South nominations and a Big South Player of the Year award as a sophomore. She was named to the All-Tournament Team her junior year and was a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team member. She was named the Big South Player of the Week five times in her career, second in program history only to Robertson.
 
Bockrath ranks second in HPU D1 history in points (1,616, good for seventh all-time), fourth in points per game (13.1 PPG), third in rebounds (747), fifth in assists (339), and third in games played (123).  She started all 123 of those games for a program record, and she also sits atop the HPU D1 record books for steals with 243. Her 88 steals as a senior are tied for the most in a single season since the Panthers joined D1, one of three 88-steal performances by members of the Purple and White in a single season.
 
Robertson, Keys, and Bockrath make it four Panthers on the Big South Women's Basketball All-Decade Teams as they join Katie O'Dell from the 2000-09 team.
 
Women's Basketball All-Decade Team candidates were determined based on being at least one of the following: 1) Was a multiple All-Conference honoree; 2) Was named an All-American; 3) Is a member of the Big South Conference Hall of Fame; 4) Student-athletes must be a college graduate or in good academic standing with their respective institution; 5) Won a Conference Championship as a coach and/or was voted Conference Coach of the Year.  Candidates that participated in two different decades were placed in a specific decade based on consultation from member institutions, and were listed under their primary position during their careers.  Member institutions also had final determination in regards to inclusion of student-athletes and coaches. Previous Women's Basketball All-Decade Teams were recognized for the years 1986-89, 1990-99, and 2000-09.
