Lauren Scott has signed a professional contract with the ZKK Patriot in North Macedonia. The Patriots compete in the Sparkasse Prva Liga Zeni, the country's top-tier women's basketball league. Scott becomes the second Panther to sign a professional contract under head coach
Chelsea Banbury.
Scott was a key part to the 2024-25 High Point University women's basketball team that won the Big South Regular Season, as well as the programs second Big South Tournament title.
During her one season in the Purple & White, Scott appeared in 33 games, making 11 starts. She averaged 24.4 minutes and 9.9 points per game. Scott recorded 18 double-digit scoring performances and reached 1,000 career points against the University of Denver on Nov. 17. She posted a season-high 23 points while shooting 5-of-7 from three-point range against Longwood on Feb. 12. Scott led the team in three-pointers made (55), averaging 1.7 per game.
Scott now takes her talents to the professional game playing for the ZKK Patriot, part of North Macedonia's premier women's basketball league.
