HIGH POINT, N.C. - The College Sports Communicators announced its Academic All-District Teams, with four members of the High Point University women's basketball team earning recognition. Anna Hager,
Peyton Gerdes,
Dom Nesland, and
Brecken Snotherly were each named to the All-District Team.

Snotherly appeared in all 33 games this season, making 27 starts. She averaged 5.2 points per game, shot .469 from the field, and recorded 56 assists. Defensively, she totaled 146 rebounds, averaging 4.4 per game. Snotherly scored a season-high 14 points, including four three-pointers, at Charleston Southern, and pulled down a season-best 12 rebounds at home against the Buccaneers. In the classroom, she excels while pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
In her senior season with the Panthers, Hager started all 33 games for the Purple & White and played a key role in both the Big South Regular Season and Big South Tournament championships. She averaged 24.2 minutes per game, along with 7.3 points and 5.1 rebounds. Hager posted a career-high 26 points at Radford and grabbed a career-best 15 rebounds at home against Radford. During the Big Easy Classic in New Orleans, she caught fire from beyond the arc, knocking down six three-pointers against College of Charleston. Hager will graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

Nesland played in 30 games for HPU, making nine starts. In her sophomore season, she averaged 26.0 minutes per game, along with 6.0 points and 4.9 rebounds. She recorded a career-high 14 rebounds against Radford and scored a season-high 13 points versus Presbyterian. Nesland is working toward a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.Â
Gerdes stepped into a significant role at the forward position for the Panthers this season. She appeared in all but one game for HPU, making one start, and averaged 17.6 minutes per game along with 6.3 points and 2.7 rebounds. Gerdes recorded multiple career-highs in scoring, most recently tallying 20 points at UNC Asheville, and grabbed a career-best seven rebounds against Winthrop. She is working toward a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity.
