HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Big South Conference has released the 2026-27 women's basketball conference schedule on Wednesday morning. The High Point University women's basketball team is set to play all eight Big South schools twice throughout the season once at home and once on the road. The Panthers will play a Wednesday and Saturday schedule starting on the road December 30.
The reigning Big South Regular-Season and Tournament Champions will open the conference slate by traveling to Winthrop for a semifinal rematch. Following the meeting with the Eagles, HPU will stay on the road for a matchup against Charleston Southern on January 2.
The Panthers host their first conference meeting against USC Upstate in the Qubein Center on January 6, then welcome Radford on January 9 for a rematch of the Big South Championship final game.
High Point will head south to Boiling Springs to face Gardner-Webb on January 13, and then on January 16, the Bulldogs of UNC Asheville host the Panthers for Saturday competition.
On January 20, Longwood University will come to High Point before its bye week. The Panthers will head south to Presbyterian College on January 27. The last home contest of the month will be held on January 30, where the Panthers will host UNC Asheville.
HPU will start its February competition in the Qubein Center against Gardner-Webb on February 3. The Panthers then head on two away trips, first going to USC Upstate on February 6 then traveling to Radford on February 10.
The Panthers welcome Charleston Southern on February 13 before hosting Presbyterian on February 17. On February 20, HPU will go north to Longwood before capping off the regular season against Winthrop on February 24.
The season culminates with the 2027 Big South Women's Basketball Championship, which will be held at Freedom Hall Civic Center in Johnson City, Tenn., from March 3-4. The first round will be Wednesday, March 3, followed by four quarterfinal contests on Thursday, March 4. The semifinals are scheduled for Saturday, March 6, with the Championship game on Sunday, March 7.
