HIGH POINT, N.C. – Anna Häger, a graduate of High Point University women's baketball team, has accepted a contract to perform for Clube Desportivo Da Escola Francisco Franco in Funchal, Portugal. The team, which trains more than 150 athletes, has been awarded the top team in Portugal. She joined the team on August 23, 2026, and shortly after, she received a call-up to play on the Swedish national team.

She was selected to compete for the Swedish national team in the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup, which took place in Antwerp from September 11–13. She contributed to the team's victory over Czechia in their inaugural FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup where they won 15-12. In their first-ever 3x3 Europe Cup, the Swedish national team placed ninth overall. In June, the team received their first qualifying bid to compete in the tournament. 
 
Häger, a 6'0 guard from Gothenburg, Sweden, played all four seasons of NCAA basketball for High Point where she appeared in 117 games with 58 starts. Over her career, she amassed 528 points, 349 rebounds, 71 steals, and 32 blocks. She scored 26 points in a game against Radford, a conference rival, setting a career high.

In 2025–2026, Häger scored a career-high 241 points in a single season with 30 steals, 20 blocks, and a 70.6 free throw percentage.
Häger was a dominating and driven player who helped the Panthers win back-to-back Big South Championships and make two NCAA Tournament visits.

Häger joins Nevaeh Zavala, Aaliyah Collins, Lauren Scott, and Jaleesa Lawrence as Pro Panthers within the past two seasons.
