HPU's Collins Signs Pro Contract

HIGH POINT, N.C. — High Point University alumna Aaliyah Collins has signed a professional contact with KK Jumper Zenica, the current champions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She's the first talent the club has signed from the United States for the 2026-27 season.

Collins played three seasons with HPU, appearing in 67 games with 52 starts while scoring 796 points, dishing out 233 assists, and swiping 161 steals. The high energy and aggressive defender helped the Panthers win back-to-back Big South Championships with a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances.

In 2025-26, Collins averaged a career-best 14.9 points per game and led the team in steals (75) and blocks (24). She was named the Big South Conference Defender of the Year and First Team All-Conference honoree while being named the Big South Tournament MVP after three Big South Player of the Week nods.

A native of Snohomish, Wash., the 5-foot-6 guard made stops at Chicago State and Grand Canyon before transferring to High Point. She was the first-ever five-time WAC Freshman of the Week at Chicago State as she was also the first Chicago State student-athlete to earn a USBWA National Freshman of the Week accolade.

Collins received an invite to the WPBA Combine following the 2025-26 season. She joins Lauren Scott and Jaleesa Lawrence as Pro Panthers within the past two seasons.
