HIGH POINT, N.C. – High Point University Women's Basketball and Head Coach Wyatt Foust has announced the Panthers' 2026-27 non-conference schedule. After winning the Big South Conference regular-season and tournament championships, HPU opens the season at home on November 2.

HPU will host eight games at the Nido & Mariana Qubein Arena and play seven away, including two neutral-site matchups over Thanksgiving break.

"With our schedule, we really wanted to challenge ourselves and give us the best chance to create a good résumé for the NCAA tournament if we are fortunate enough to be there," Head Coach Wyatt Foust said. "We are trying to establish ourselves as a top mid-major program so we are taking on some of the best major teams in the country on the road."

Lees-McRae College visits the Qubein Center on November 2, to open the 2026-27 season. HPU defeated the Bobcats, 99-47, in its most recent meeting in 2023 and will look for its 12th straight win in the run since the 1993-94 season.

The Panthers welcome Wingate University on November 4, for the first time since 1994, when the Bulldogs earned an 80-48 win.

High Point travels to Ball State on November 7 for the first meeting between the programs. The Cardinals finished last season 26-7 overall and 16-2 in Mid-American Conference play.

On November 11, the Panthers travel to Greenville, N.C., to face East Carolina University for the fifth time in program history. HPU holds a 3-1 series advantage after last season's 84-68 win over the Pirates.

South Carolina State University visits the Qubein Center on November 14, for the fourth meeting between the programs. Last season, the Panthers traveled to South Carolina and defeated the Bulldogs, 64-44.

Hampton University comes to HPU on November 16, for the first time since the 2021-22 season. High Point is 7-0 all-time against the Pirates, with the series beginning February 2, 2019, and the most recent matchup taking place January 22, 2022.

High Point travels to Vermont on November 19, for the second meeting between the programs. The Panthers won last season's first matchup, 71-65.

HPU heads to San Diego, Calif., for Thanksgiving matchups against Grand Canyon University and the University of Arkansas on November 24-25. The games will mark High Point's first meeting with Grand Canyon and third against Arkansas.

High Point returns home November 29, to face Army. The programs have met once, during the 2000-01 season, when the Panthers fell in overtime.

December closes the non-conference slate with five games, including three at home and two on the road.

High Point travels to Greenville, S.C., to face Furman University on December 2. The teams last met during the 2013-14 season, and the Paladins lead the series, 4-2.

North Carolina Central University visits the Qubein Center on December 5, after falling to HPU, 82-60, last season. The Panthers are 5-0 against the Eagles since the series began in 2008 with a 57-40 win.

HPU makes its final non-conference road trip December 13, to face James Madison University. The teams last met December 30, 2000, when the Dukes earned the win.

Mercer University and Norfolk State University close the non-conference schedule. Mercer visits the Qubein Center on December 16, with the all-time series tied after four meetings. The teams last played during the 2012-13 season.

Norfolk State comes to HPU on December 23, to conclude the non-conference campaign. The teams have met seven times since 1999, with Norfolk State holding a 4-3 series edge.
