HIGH POINT, N.C. – High Point University women's basketball assistant coach Holly Hoopingarner has been named to the Hoop Herald x BTN 30, recognizing her continued impact on the game and rising career in coaching.

"I'm incredibly honored to be recognized alongside so many outstanding coaches who are making a meaningful impact on the college basketball profession," Hoppingarner said. "I'm grateful to be included in this group and excited to continue learning, growing, and contributing to the future of the game."

Hoopingarner joined the Panthers in April 2026, bringing experience from Butler University, IUPUI and the University of Florida. She spent four seasons at Butler, serving as an assistant coach from 2022-26, where she contributed to player development, guard instruction, scouting and recruiting.

Prior to her time with the Bulldogs, Hoppingarner spent the 2021-22 season on staff at IUPUI, her alumna mater, after serving as a graduate assistant at Florida during the 2020-21 campaign. At IUPUI, she helped the Jaguars post a 24-5 record, capture the Horizon League regular-season and tournament championships, and earn a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

As a player at IUPUI from 2016-20, Hoopingarner helped lead the Jaguars to four consecutive postseason appearances and four 20-win seasons. She earned Horizon League Tournament Most Valuable Player honors and All-Horizon League Second Team recognition as a senior, finishing her collegiate career with more than 1,000 points and 305 assists.

Hoopingarner continues to bring her experience, energy and commitment to player development to High Point as the Panthers build toward continued success under head coach Wyatt Foust.
