Women's Basketball Welcomes Five New Transfers

HIGH POINT, N.C. - The High Point University women's basketball team has welcomed five transfers to HPU for the upcoming 2026-27 athletic year, announced by head coach Wyatt Foust on Friday afternoon.

"This transfer class has an opportunity to be a special group," Foust said. "As we recruited them the common theme amongst all of them was a desire to leave a legacy here and propel the program to the top of the mid-major ranks. While they are all incredibly gifted offensive players they all prioritized winning and culture over everything and those are 'our' kind of kids. I can't wait for our fans to get to watch this group grow together and create some magic on the court."

Rylee Bess | Sophomore | Guard | 5'6" | Purdue Fort Wayne

Foust on Bess: "Rylee had a stand out freshman season and her ceiling has no limits. She shot the ball extremely well from three with a quick release and range and she will help stretch the floor but she is also a great playmaker off the bounce. Her toughness and competitiveness will be a staple of what we want High Point Women's basketball to be about. She's no stranger to big shots in big moments and she will look to be a huge part of our success for years to come!"

Taylor Feldman | Graduate Student | Guard | 5'8" | Purdue

Foust on Feldman: "Taylor brings us so much experience from the PG position and she has proven that she is a major impact player! She is one of the elite 3 level scorers in women's basketball and she knows how to make everyone around her better as well. Her passion and motivation to end her career on a high note will be a driving force behind what will be a special first season for all of us. She was a coveted player out of the transfer portal and we're so excited she decided to be a Panther."

Khloe Lemon | Senior | Guard | 5'9" | California Baptist

Foust on Lemon: "Khloe is such a vibrant young lady who will light up the room with her energy and excitement. During long college seasons you have to have someone like her to keep everyone laughing and on their toes. When she steps on the floor she brings a toughness and a scoring element that can change a game in a hurry. She's a perfect fit for our system with her ability to hit a volume of 3's and get to the FT line consistently."

Meredith Tippner | Sophomore | Guard | 5'10" | Miami

Foust on Tippner: "Tipp is a world class athlete and just knows how to win. If she wanted to have been a chess player she would probably be an All-American at that too. She is going to be a massive piece to this puzzle with all the intangibles she brings to the table. You can't put a number to the value she brings but you will see the end result. If she has to score she will score, if she has to guard a PG or a center, she will do it. There aren't many players like her anywhere in college basketball"

Juliann Woodard | Junior | Forward | 6'0" | Michigan State

Foust on Woodard: "J will be a fan favorite really quickly. There aren't many players in the country with her combination of size, speed and shooting ability and she will be a matchup problem on a nightly basis. She has a tremendous motor and can win you games on the glass alone. I was actually her first offer ever out of high school and it is such a cool moment to finally get to coach her."
