WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced the men's lacrosse players of the week on Monday afternoon. For the first time this season,
Ryan Hynes from the High Point University men's lacrosse team was named the Offensive Player of the Week after a stellar game against Saint Joseph's over the weekend. HPU defeated the ranked Hawks, 16-15 on the road for its second upset of the season.
Hynes, a midfielder from Kildeer, Ill. registered a season-high four goals to go along with two assists for six points. Going 4-for-9 on shots he finished with a .444 shot percentage. This was Hynes' second consecutive game with four goals.
High Point will host St. Bonaventure on Saturday, April 4 for senior day at Vert Stadium. The first faceoff is set for 1:00 p.m.
