WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced the men's lacrosse players of the week on Monday afternoon. High Point University's Luca Accardo was named the Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight week after helping the Panthers defeat Delaware Saturday afternoon.
 
Accardo led the game with a program record 19 ground balls after going 21-23 on the faceoff. His 21 faceoff wins was one win shy from tying his own program record which he set a week ago in the Panthers win over ranked UMass. In the first half, Accardo was 15-15 on the faceoff.
 
High Point is now 2-0 in A-10 play and will play at St. Joseph's on Saturday, March 28 at 3:00 p.m.
