HIGH POINT, N.C. - The Big South Conference has announced its weekly awards from the week of February 8 - February 15 as High Point University's
Aaliyah Collins was named the conference Player of the Week.
Collins started both games for the Panthers this week, totaling 53 points while playing 84 minutes across the two contests. She opened the week with 24 points at home against Longwood, adding six assists, three steals, two blocks, and shooting 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. Over the weekend, Collins matched her career high with 29 points in the win against Charleston Southern, going 12-for-21 from the field. She also knocked down three three-pointers and finished with three rebounds, three assists, three blocks, and five steals.
Collins and the High Point Panthers are back on the hardwood on Wednesday, February 18 at UNC Asheville for a 6:30 p.m. tip-off.
