CHARLOTTE, N.C. — After a dominant performance at the Red Flash Invitational that saw the High Point University men's golf team take home the win, two Panthers were awarded with Big South Conference honors on Thursday afternoon, as announced by the league office.

Sophomore Tully Super was named Big South Golfer of the Week, while Savar Bhasin took home Big South Freshman of the Week honors. This is the first weekly conference award for both golfers and the team's first accolades this season.

Super finished the two-day tournament with medalist honors for his first top collegiate finish. He was dominate, shooting 7-under with 17 birdies over 54 holes. Super's best round came to begin the tournament (5-under-par 65). His first round score is a collegiate low for Super and his overall score was a tournament low. He then shot 1-under 69 in both rounds two and three. Super led the field, shooting 9-under on Par 4 holes. Ten of his 17 birdies came in round one. 

Bhasin carded his best collegiate placement with an eighth-place finish. His best round came in the second by shooting 1-under-par 69, while recording the second-most pars (40) in the tournament field. He shot even in round three, and finished T2 in Par 4 holes shooting 4-under. Bhasin finished even at the Red Flash Invitational.
