GREENVILLE, S.C. — The High Point University men's golf team traveled to Greenville, S.C., to compete in the Furman Intercollegiate for the final fall tournament at the Furman Golf Club. The Panthers played 36 holes to open play on Saturday before dealing with inclement weather Sunday to complete the tournament as Carter Pitcairn carded a top-20 finish to lead High Point.

Carter Pitcairn finished the tournament placing 19th overall and shooting 3-over-par. He started off with a 1-under-par 70 first round score. Pitcairn totaled 10 birdies over the two-day tournament. The redshirt senior also shot 1-under on Par 5 holes and shot even on Par 3 holes.
After being a medalist at the Red Flash Invitational, Tully Super came in second for the Panthers with an 8-over-par outing. He had a pair of 73s during the 36-hole day one. He was tied for the most pars in the tournament with 42 and shot even on Par 5 holes.
Savar Bhasin completed the Furman Intercollegiate with a total of nine birdies, and just as Super did, shot even on Par 5 holes. The freshman finished shooting 27 pars total and had his best round over the opening 18 with a 73.
Burch Harrison started off the tournament shooting 1-under-par 70 with five birdies. The senior completed the tournament, shooting 28 pars overall. Sean Shallat tied for 14th on Par 5 holes, shooting 3-under and shot par 31 times.
Up Next: The Panthers have completed their fall season and will look ahead to the spring. High Point's first tournament of the spring will take place from February 2-3 in Kiawah Island, S.C., at the Battle at Briar's Creek.
