CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference has announced the women's basketball conference slate for the 2024-25 season. The Panthers will play each Big South team twice through the two months. The conference regular season will end on February 26 as HPU has a bye the last week of the season before the 2025 Hercules Tires Big South Basketball Championship in Johnson City, Tennessee.
 
The conference season tips off on Thursday, January 2 at Radford University before HPU welcomes UNC Asheville for the conference home opener at the Nido & Mariana Qubein Center on Saturday, Jan. 4. HPU will stay on its home court to take on Charleston Southern University just a few days later on Wednesday, Jan. 8. The rest of the season will run on a Wednesday and Saturday game schedule.
 
The Panthers will hit the road for a meeting with the Runnin' Bulldogs of Gardner-Webb on Jan. 11 before returning to High Point to welcome Longwood on Jan. 15. A rematch of the Big South Tournament semifinal game will take place in Clinton, S.C. as the Panthers will take the trip to Presbyterian on Jan. 18.
 
HPU will start the week off playing at home on Jan. 22 against USC Upstate before hitting the road again to take on Winthrop in Rock Hill, S.C. on Jan. 25. The Big South scheduled a bye for the Panthers on Jan. 29 as they will have about a weeks rest before hosting the Blue Hose of Presbyterian on Feb. 1. HPU will remain on its home court to host Radford for the second matchup of the season on Feb. 5.
 
Back on the road as the Panthers will head to Asheville to face the Bulldogs for the second time around on Feb. 8 before taking the drive to Farmville, Va. to face Longwood on Feb. 12. HPU will return home on Feb. 15 to host Winthrop before going back on the road to the Palmetto State as they matchup with Charleston Southern on Feb. 19.
 
The final two games of the season will be split as Gardner-Webb will make their return to the Qubein Center on Feb. 22 before wrapping up the regular season at USC Upstate on Feb. 26. HPU will have another bye to end the season as the Panthers will have a bit of extra rest before making a return to the Big South Tournament.
