High Point University track and field squads finished weekend action at the Raleigh Relays and Weems Baskin Invitational.
Ebba Ahman and
Lindsay Cooper posted two personal bests each while
Alicia Dawson claimed a gold medal for HPU.

WEEMS BASKIN INVITATIONAL
Ahman finished fourth in the 400m hurdles with a personal record time of 1:00.52, besting last weekend's 1:00.85 at the Webb Davidson Meet in High Point. She also finished 12
th in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.40 seconds in her first attempt at the race for the season. Teammate
Lindsay Cooper also ran both races, finishing fifth in the 400m hurdles (1:02.50) and ninth in the 100m hurdles (14.23s), also both times her best in her time at HPU. Ahman and Cooper joined
Marissa Blakely and
Abi Craig for a seventh-place finish in the women's 4x400m relay in a time of 3:51.36. Blakely and Craig each competed in the 200m and 400m races. Blakely finished 10
th in the 200m (24.87s) and eighth in the 400m (55.98s) while Craig was 29
th in the 200m (25.58s) and 16
th in the 400m (57.48).
Dae'Nitra Hester also ran for 10
th place in the 400m dash with a time of 56.54 seconds and
Lilly Wolf was 33
rd in the 100m hurdles (17.51s).

In field event action,
Alicia Dawson's mark of 11.91m won the women's triple jump while
Sydney Koker was third in the high jump invite, jumping over 1.65m.
Amelia Moreland was fourth in the high jump open (1.40m) as well.
Anjali Mead finished tenth in the women's pole vault invite, clearing 3.80m on her first attempt at the bar.
Letizia Marsico was third in the women's discus with a mark of 43.89m while
Amanda Scattergood was ninth (39.38m).

On the men's side,
Terris Burton II finished as the runner-up of the 400m hurdles in 53.48 seconds.
Tucker Conine was 25
th in the 100m dash (11.27s) while
Felix LeBlanc was 25
th in the 110m hurdles (16.78s) and
David Caivano was 29
th (17.31s) in the same event.

For field events,
Dekairi Brown was eight in the high jump invite, clearing 1.93m.
Alex Constantino and
Michael Henson competed in the open section of the event finishing third (1.84m) and fourth (1.81m), respectively.
Jackson Tuomey finished third in the men's pole vault invite, vaulting over 4.77m for the top-five finish.
Nick Lourenco and
Reid Holloway tied for ninth with a mark of 4.57m.
Larry Coaxum was eighth in the triple jump (14.36m) while
Alex Hoffman (41.23m),
Felix Leblanc (40.98m), and Caivano (31.48m) were 14
th, 15
th, and 37
th in the discus.

RALEIGH RELAYS
Nikki Frail led a trio of HPU women in the 800m run at the Raleigh Relays, finishing with a time of 2:12.36, just three-hundredths of a second from her personal best.
Mikayla Moxley finished with a new personal record of 2:14.02 and
Camryn Harper crossed the finish line in 2:15.46.

Graham Ferguson ran the men's 800m as well, finishing in 1:54.85.

Up Next: High Point returns to Vert Stadium next weekend for the annual VertKlasse meeting, beginning Friday, March 31
st. It marks the second of three home meets for the Panthers. Â
