HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University women's basketball team will open its Big South Conference home schedule as Presbyterian comes to the Millis Center on Thursday, Jan. 10. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
 
History vs. Presbyterian
This will be the 24th meeting all-time between the two programs. HPU currently leads the series 18-6. The Panthers took a 62-60 win March 9, 2018 in the Big South Tournament in the last meeting between the two programs.

• The Panthers are 111-89 all-time under head coach DeUnna Hendrix. In the Millis Center, Hendrix has a 60-27 record.
 
• Hendrix is 5-1 in conference home openers.
 
• Hendrix is 5-0 when her teams are playing Presbyterian at home. The teams last met in the Millis Center Jan. 9, 2018. The Panthers took an 81-55 win.
 
• Senior Emma Bockrath leads the Purple & White with 17.4 points per game and 7.2 rebounds per game.
 
• Bockrath was named Big South Women's Basketball Player of the Week (Dec. 3) after averaging 15.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 4.0 steals over three games.
 
•The Dayton, Ohio native ranks second in the Big South in steals per game (3.2), third in scoring (17.4), field goal percentage (.438) and assists per game (3.6), fifth in assist/turnover ratio (1.3) and seventh in rebounding (7.2). Bockrath is 19th in the NCAA in steals per game.
 
• Senior Lindsey Edwards is second in points per game for High Point at 12.0. Edwards also adds 4.9 rebounds per game.
 
• The Perry Hall, Md. native ranks fourth in the Big South in steals per game, fifth in field goal percentage and 11th in points per game. Edwards is 35th in the NCAA in steals per game.
 
• Senior Bria Gibson's 5.8 rebounds per game is second for HPU. Gibson adds 7.2 points per game.
 
• Senior Shea Morgan is third on the team in rebounds per game (5.4) and assists per game (2.6) and fourth in points per game (10.0).
 
• Junior Camryn Brown is tops on the team and second in the Big South in assists per game at 4.3. She leads the Big South in assist/turnover ratio at 1.6. 
 
• The Copley, Ohio native is third on the team with 11.1 points per game.
 
• High Point averages 72.8 points per game, which leads the Big South.
 
• The Panthers also lead the conference in field goal percentage (.420), assists (16.08) and assist/turnover ratio (0.95).
 
• The Panthers average 11.7 steals per game, which ranks tied for 20th in the NCAA.
 
A LOOK AT THE BLUE HOSE (3-10, 1-1)
• Kacie Hall leads Presbyterian with 14.4 points per game and 3.6 assists per game. Hall ranks fifth in scoring and third in assists in the Big South.
 
• Hall was named the Big South Player of the Week on Dec. 27, 2018 after averaging 25.0 points on 46.7 percent shooting.
 
• Salina Virola is tops on the team in rebounds with 8.1 per game, which is fourth in the Big South. She adds 9.6 points a game.
 
• Shamani Stafford is second for the Blue Hose in scoring with 12.2 per game.
 
• Trinity Johnson is second on the team and fifth in the Big South in assists per game at 3.4.
 
• Presbyterian leads the Big South in free throw percentage at 72.1 percent.
 
• The Blue Hose average 57.8 points and grab 33.6 rebounds per game.
 
• Head coach Alaura Sharp is in her first season as the head coach at Presbyterian. She has a 3-10 record this season.

• HPU head coach DeUnna Hendrix is 8-6 in her career against Presbyterian. She has compiled a 75-41 all-time record against Big South teams. Hendrix is 5-0 when playing at home against Presbyterian.
