HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University women's basketball team heads to Gardner-Webb on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. for its penultimate road game of the season.

The Panthers (16-10, 10-5) earned their 10th Big South win of the season on Tuesday night holding off Charleston Southern for a 52-49 victory. Meanwhile, the Runnin' Bulldogs (17-10, 7-8) are coming off a 10-point home loss to Presbyterian.

Quick Hitters
• Lindsey Edwards racked up her first career double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead High Point to a 52-49 triumph over Charleston Southern on Tuesday night.

• Emma Bockrath, the reigning Big South Player of the Year, is averaging 18.0 points while shooting 47.7 percent from the floor over the last four road contests. The junior has played all 40 minutes in four of the last six games.

• High Point has won at least 10 Big South games in each of the past seven years. That is the second-longest streak in the league's history behind Liberty's current streak (19).

• The Purple & White are the only squad in the Big South to have the same starting five in every game this season. Edwards, Bockrath, Morgan, Kennedy Currie and Camryn Brown have started all 26 together.

• Shea Morgan has made more than half of her shots in road games this season (56-of-111) and is averaging 10.1 points per game outside of the Millis Center this season.

• The Panthers are 8-5 on the road this season also posting an 8-5 mark at home. A win would give HPU six Big South road wins for two straight years for the first time.

• The Panthers are 14-4 when at least three players score in double figures this season.

• Through the first 19 games HPU made an average of 2.1 more three's per contest than they allowed while shooting 39.1 percent from downtown. However, in the last six the team is shooting 20.0 percent and losing the three-point battle by 2.0 per game.

• Bockrath was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team for the second straight season. She joins Leslie Cook as the only two Panthers to achieve the feat twice. Last year, Bockrath's selection made her the third All-District selection at High Point.

• Head coach DeUnna Hendrix has 74 Big South wins, which makes her the eighth winningest coach in league history. Meanwhile, her .673 winning percentage is the third-highest mark among coaches with 100 regular season league games.

• The Panthers are 74-36 against conference foes under Hendrix. That's the second-best mark in the league during her tenure at High Point trailing only Liberty and includes a 34-20 mark when playing Big South opponents on the road.

All-Time Series with Gardner-Webb
High Point has won three straight and eight of the last 10 to build a 20-12 margin in the all-time series. The Panthers are 7-8 when playing in Paul Porter Arena.

Scouting the Runnin' Bulldogs
Alexus Hill and Tierra Huntsman both rank in the top-four of the league in scoring while combining for 28.4 points per game. That represents 45 percent of the squad's scoring this season. Despite a 12-3 start, GWU has won just five of its last 12 games.

What to Watch
Bockrath has averaged 22.0 points in her previous two trips to Gardner-Webb. She's hit 19-of-28 of her shot attempts in Paul Porter Arena (68 percent).

Last Time They Met
Six different Panthers scored in double figures as Camryn Brown dished out a season-high eight assists in the Purple & White's 83-80 overtime victory in the Millis Center on Jan. 2 despite a game-high 24 points from Hill in a losing effort for the Runnin' Bulldogs.

1,000-Point Teammates?
• Bockrath became the 10th HPU D-I player to reach 1,000 points with her 21-point outing versus UNC Asheville.

• Harris has 989 points her in High Point career needing just 11 to join Bockrath in the 1,000-point club.

• The last time the Purple & White had teammates reach 1,000 points in the same season was when Cheyenne Parker and Erin Reynolds reached that threshold during the 2012-13 campaign.

Pacing the League in Points
• During Hendrix's five seasons at the helm for the squad is averaging 68.0 points per game. That's two points per contest higher than second-place Liberty (66.3 ppg).

• High Point led the conference in scoring last year with 68.3 points per game, which was the third time in five years that Hendrix's squad achieved the feat. HPU is currently on pace to make that four times in six seasons with its 3.4 edge over second-place Charleston Southern.

• During that span High Point joins Liberty as the only two programs to win at least 10 Big South contests every year.
