HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University athletic training department has announced the hiring of Jared Beier as an intern athletic trainer.
 
He will work primarily with the HPU baseball program.
 
Beier comes to HPU from UNLV, where he served as an athletic training graduate intern from 2013-15. Beier worked with the Runnin' Rebels baseball and football programs and served as a clinical preceptor for UNLV ATEP students.
 
Beier graduated from the University of Tulsa with a degree in athletic training in 2013. He earned his master's degree from UNLV in 2015. He is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer and a member of NATA.
