Kaylah Keys of the High Point University women's basketball team has been named the Big South Conference Freshman of the Week, the league announced Monday. Keys scored a career-high 25 points against UNC Greensboro on Sunday.

Keys poured in a career-high 25 points on 58 percent shooting from the floor against the Spartans on Sunday. She went 9-for-11 from the free-throw line and grabbed a career-high three steals in the game.

For the season Keys is averaging 12.2 points per game points per game, tied for second on the team. She has been the team's leading scorer in each of the last two contests.

High Point will host Furman on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Millis Center. It is the first of three straight home games for the Panthers.
