Women's Basketball Gets Revenge With Win Over Charleston Southern, 75-56

High Point had four players in double figures as the Panthers defeated Charleston Southern 75-56, Sunday afternoon in the Millis Center.

The Panthers improve to 15-8 on the season and 7-3 in conference play, while CSU falls to 12-10 and 6-5 in the Big South.

High Point took control of the game with 14:21 left in the first half on a 3-pointer by Narelle Henry (12 points, six rebounds, eight assists). The Panthers maintained the lead from this point on, leading by as much as 28 points in the second half.

Kate Jenner scored 13 points to lead HPU. Misty Brockman added 12 and Gina Rosser contributed 10 points to the victory.

Marea Daniels led the Lady Bucs with 14 points, while Lisa Crandall added 11 points and six rebounds.

HPU will travel to Lynchburg, Va., on Friday, Feb. 14 to battle Liberty in a televised game (6:00 pm). The game will be broadcast in High Point/Greensboro on Time Warner Cable channel 69 and in Reidsville on WXIV-14. For a full list of stations carrying the game, visit BigSouthSports.com.
