The Panthers finish the regular season at 16-11 (8-6 in Big South play), and locked up the No. 3 seed in the Big South Tournament. HPU hosts Radford Wednesday night (7:00 pm) in a first-round game.
Charleston Southern's 78-61 loss to Coastal Carolina assured the Panthers of the third seed.

The Phoenix never trailed, and led by as many as 12 in the first half before taking a 36-26 lead to the break. Elon opened up the second half on a 20-7 run to put things out of reach.
Elon will host either Winthrop or Coastal Carolina Wednesday night at Alumni Gym in a first-round Tournament game, while High Point hosts either Radford or Coastal Carolina. Both games start at 7:00 pm, with the winners moving on to the semifinals Saturday night in Lynchburg, Va.
