Box Score High Point rallied from a 31-24 halftime deficit for a dramatic 59-58 victory over homestanding Campbell Saturday afternoon.
The Panthers (3-1) have now won three straight after opening the season with a loss at Western Carolina.
Campbell falls to 1-2 on the season.
The Panthers went on a 15-3 run at the beginning of the second half, and survived a despiration heave at the buzzer which fell just short to hold on for the win.
Misty Brockman and Narelle Henry led the Panthers with 13 points apiece, while Kate Jenner added 12 for HPU. Henry added eight assists and four steals, while Cebronica Scott provided five assists. As a team, the Panthers tallied 16 steals.
The Camels got a game-high 19 points from Kristal Troy.
High Point travels to Wake Forest Monday night for a 7:00 pm tip-off at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem.
