Kaite Feenstra scored 17 points and five-time defending Big South champion Liberty got 49 points from its bench to eventually pull away from High Point, 75-49, at the Vines Center.

The scrappy Panthers (7-11, 2-4 Big South) stayed with the much taller and deeper Lady Flames for about 30 minutes before succumbing to defeat. Despite shooting a paltry 22 percent from the field in the first half, High Point trailed just 27-21 at halftime and by just eight (40-32) with 11 minutes to play before Liberty broke things open. The Lady Flames (11-7, 5-1) outrebounded High Point 60-42.

The 6-7 Feenstra and her sister, 6-8 Meribeth Feenstra, were nearly unstoppable inside. Meribeth Feenstra tallied eight points and 10 rebounds to go along with Katie's 17 points and eight rebounds.

Narelle Henry was the only Panther in double-figures with 13 points.
