High Point hung with the No. 13-ranked Florida Lady Gators for a half, out-shooting the home team to trail just 36-33 at the break, but Florida broke loose in the second half for a 93-65 win.

Mary Brewer poured in 19 points and Narelle Henry added 15 as the Panthers (1-2) dropped their second road contest of the season. Six Florida players scored in double-figures, including all five starters. Courtney Cooper led all scorers with 25 points for the Gators, who outrebounded High Point 58-34.
