NORMAN, Okla. – The 2025-26 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award recipients have been announced by the GCAA on Wednesday afternoon. High Point University men's golf was named to the selection for holding above a 3.0 GPA during the 2025-26 academic year.
 
A GCAA-record 331 schools across six divisions earned a PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award.
 
On Monday Shlok Jain and Tully Super were named 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars, each holding over a 3.2 GPA throughout the season.
 
During the season, the Panthers won their first tournament under Head Coach Logan Davis at the Red Flash invitational as Super was named the individual medalist after shooting 7-under par. At the Big South Championships, HPU placed third overall in stroke play to advance to match play.
 
Recently, James Hassell and Super have qualified for the126th U.S. Amateur Championship for the first time in their careers and will compete on August 10-16 at the Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.
