Luca Accardo was named an Honorable Mention All-American for the second consecutive season.
Players selected for All-American were nominated by their coach and then received votes from the All-American Committee.
As a faceoff specialist, Accardo led the Atlantic 10 and was Top 10 in the country in faceoff wins with 207 and faceoff percentage, 63.7% (207-325). He also led the league in ground balls totaling 139 (second-best in program history in a single season) to average 9.93 per game and rank No. 2 in the country in ground balls per game. During the season, he set the program record in ground balls in a single-game with 19 at Delaware and tied his own single-game record with 22 faceoff wins against UMass. Following the season, Accardo was also named a USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American and a Nike Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American.
Accardo finished his career as the all-time program leader in ground balls with 372 and the single seasons leader with 154 ground balls in 2025 followed by the second most ground balls in a single season in 2026 with 139. In faceoff wins Accardo ranks third all-time in program history with 558 going 558-922 for 60.5%. After an outstanding career, Accardo has become one of the best faceoff specialists to wear the High Point jersey.
