The High Point University men's lacrosse team will begin the 2026 Atlantic 10 Betterment Men's Lacrosse Championship on Thursday, April 30 at 7:00 p.m. The No. 2-seed Panthers and the No. 3-seed Hawks face-off in the semifinal round of the tournament at the host site, Richmond at Robins Stadium. The winner will advance to the tournament championship on Saturday at noon. This is the second straight season the Panthers have entered the tournament as the two-seed and the third matchup with the Hawks in the semifinals (2023-No. 4, 2024-No. 3, 2025-No. 2).

High Point closed out the 2026 campaign at 5-1 in Atlantic 10 competition with an 6-7 mark overall, earning the second seed for the championship. The 5-1 league record was the Panthers' best mark in league play in program history. The Panthers are led by Justin Wixted's 48 points and 30 assists, and Carson Robins 28 goals. HPU is third in the nation in face-off winning percentage behind Luca Accardo's .639 success rate for sixth in the nation.
 
A three-team tiebreaker for seeds three and four between Saint Joseph's, Massachusetts and Delaware, who all finished the regular season with 3-3 records. The deadlock was broken by goals against in head-to-head competition, with Hawks claiming the No. 3 seed and UMass at No. 4. Saint Joseph's is 6-5 overall and are led offensively by Ben Dutton, who has a team-high 33 points and 30 goals, while Collin Campbell and Griffin Mallory have each added 31 points.
