NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Carson Robins from the High Point University men's lacrosse team was named the Under Armour Atlantic 10 Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week for the first time this season. Robins helped the Panthers defeat the No. 16 ranked University of Massachusetts on Saturday afternoon, 14-9 on the road, picking up the team's first win over a ranked opponent. 

Robins a freshman from Bracebridge, Ontario, Canada dominated on the offense, leading the game with a team-high six points after dishing out three goals and three assists. Robins went a perfect three-for-three for shots on goal and added a groundball

The Panthers travel to Richmond, Virginia to play No. 11 Richmond for their third A10 game of the season. The first faceoff is set on Saturday, April 12 at 4:00 p.m.
