CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Big South Conference officially announced the seeds for the Big South Women's Lacrosse Championship on Sunday as High Point University earned the No. 2 seed.

The Panthers will face No. 3 Furman on Friday, May 2 at 7 p.m. The semifinals and championship will be hosted by Mercer University in Macon, Ga. The championship game will be on Sunday, May 4 at 12:00 p.m.

Mercer, High Point and Furman all clinched a share of the Big South regular-season title, giving the Panthers their first regular-season title since 2022 and seventh total (13 overall including tournament titles). In regular-season play, the Bears beat the Panthers, the Paladins defeated the Bears and the Panthers crushed the Paladins to leave all three teams with one loss in league play.

With the three-way tie for first place, the official seedings came down to the highest RPI to the thousandth after league play concluded on Saturday afternoon. Mercer edged out High Point and Furman to earn the top seed and host the tournament.
