NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced the 2026-27 IWLCA Aspire Assistant Coach Development Program Classes on Friday as High Point University's Taylor Moncman was one of 26 coaches recognized. 
 
Aspire, which launched in 2024, was designed to align with the IWLCA's vision to offer an intensive, high-quality continuing education opportunity for current assistant coaches. This Aspire class features two cohorts of 13 coaches each for 2026-27.

"I am incredibly grateful to be accepted into the IWLCA Aspire Program!" Moncman said. "This program gives me the opportunity to grow alongside like-minded coaches who are committed to becoming better every day. I'm excited to learn, be challenged, build meaningful relationships, and continue shaping the coach and leader I want to become."
 
In 2024, Moncman was hired as an assistant coach at HPU after a four-year career at Temple University where she served as a four-year defensive starter and two-time captain. She led the Owls to three American Conference Tournaments and one NCAA Tournament appearance in 2021.
 
In two seasons at HPU, Moncman has coached the defense and helped lead the Panthers to a 2025 Big South Conference regular season title. 

"I'm really proud of Taylor for seeking opportunities to grow and develop for herself and our program," HPU Head Coach Lyndsey Boswell said. "Young assistants in our game right now are so important for our game to grow, so I look forward to seeing how this program can keep her passion and excitement growing about the game."
 
The IWLCA continues to work with e.t.c. coaching consultants to plan and execute the Aspire program's curriculum, and Sarah McQuade and Julie Muller will serve as the lead facilitators. The parallel cohorts will partake in virtual and in-person programming throughout the fall semester, wrapping up in January 2027 to allow the participants time to focus on their teams and put their coursework to use during their competitive season.
