RALEIGH, N.C. — The High Point University men's golf team fought through rough weather and rain delays to finish its regular season at the Stitch Intercollegiate on Saturday afternoon at the Lonnie Poole Golf Club.

Burch Harrison carded an 1-over-par to start off the tournament. He shot two back-to-back birdies to open round two and ended the two-day contest with a 74 in round three.
Grady Newton battled well through the rainy conditions for an even first round. He dropped in the rankings after a 79 in round two but recovered nicely to close out with another even round of 71, including an eagle on his second-to-last hole of the day.
Tully Super carded 77 in the first round, and then had four birdies on the back nine of round two for an even round two. Super finished out the tournament with a 3-over-par final round.
Fred Roberts IV started out with a 78 in round one but bounced back in round two with an even score to finish the first 36 holes. In the last 18, Roberts carded a 2-over-par 74 for the third round.
Shlok Jain opened with 77 in round one and improved on the next 18 with a 3-over-par 74 in round two. He closed out the day with another 74 round. He carded seven birdies across the two days.
Jay Smith, competing as an individual, had a strong start with a 1-over-par 72 in round one. Smith shot 81 in round two but improved to close the tournament with a 78 on the final 18 holes.
