DICKSON, Tenn. — After nearly a month away from competing, the High Point University men's golf team took the course to play in the Austin Peay Intercollegiate at the GreyStone Golf Club. High Point started the 54-hole tournament on Monday and concluded on Tuesday afternoon. Burch Harrison and Carter Pitcairn tied (T44) as the top finishers for the Panthers.
Head Coach Logan Davis: "Disappointing week for us in Tennessee. The weather changed completely overnight and the course played the exact opposite of what it did in the practice round, but it isn't an excuse. We can't put ourselves that far behind after the first round; it is way too difficult to come back from that. We are going to have to clean up first round performances, but on a positive note, we finished off the tournament with a solid round."
