Harrison, Jain Place Top 20 at Wexford Intercollegiate

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — The High Point University men's golf team played in the Wexford Intercollegiate to begin the Panthers' 2026 spring campaign. HPU started the 54-hole tournament on Monday at the Wexford Colf Club and concluded on Tuesday afternoon as Burch Harrison and Shlok Jain both placed inside the top 20.

Head Coach Logan Davis"I'm proud of the way the guys fought out there. Though our scores may not show it, they showed a ton of heart and never gave up. The course was playing very difficult and they approached the tournament with the proper mindset. I saw lots of positives in each players' game individually, which I think we can take to San Antonio with us next week and capitalize on. Obviously not the start we wanted to have for the spring, but as a team we have a good game plan moving forward and I can't wait to see how we bounce back from this. Burch and Shlok both with a top-20 finish individually was great to see as well. They both played very solid golf and I know not just them, but everyone else on the team with them has a lot left in their tank for this spring."
