MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. —On Tuesday, the High Point University men's golf team wrapped up its third spring tournament at the General Hackler Invitational, hosted by Coastal Carolina.
Fred Roberts IV led the Panthers with a top-25 finish.

Fred Roberts IV finished tied for 21st place after three solid rounds. He started even in the first round, followed by a 1-under-par 71 in the second round. Roberts closed with an even-par 72 for finish 1-under-par overall. The graduate student finished the tournament with a total of seven birdies.
Shlok Jain shot 2-over-par 74 in both the first and second rounds and finished with a 4-over-par 76 in the final round. Jain carded an eagle on hole 4 — for his first of the spring season — on Tuesday.
Tully Super carded a 4-over-par 76 in the first round and a 3-over-par 75 in the second round. Super finished out the tournament with a 76.
Grady Newton carded a pair of 77 rounds, improving with a 75 in round three. Newton carded nine birdies.
Jay Smith shot a 85 in the first round and bounced back with a 5-over-77 in round two. Smith ended the tournament with an 84.
