CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Big South Conference announced the Player of the Week award nominations on Monday afternoon for the final week of the Big South regular-season. Maya Bukovcan was named the Freshman of the Week for the fourth time this season.

In the Panthers' last game of the regular-season on Friday night, Bukovcan helped HPU to a 3-0 sweep over Radford on senior night. Against the Highlanders, Bukovcan went 5-for-10 from the middle attack, registering a .500 hitting percentage to average 1.67 kills per set. In her 14 serves across the net she picked up a point off a service ace. On the block she contributed two block assists and also picked up two digs.

High Point will prepare to host the Big South Tournament at the Millis Center beginning on Friday, November 21 through Sunday, November 23. HPU has a first round bye and will play on Saturday, November 22 at 6:00 p.m. against the winner of No. 3 Charleston Southern versus No. 6 Radford. Come out to the Millis Center on Saturday to cheer on the Panthers.
