HIGH POINT, N.C. — High Point University men's golf team has three new players on its 2024-2025 roster: two incoming freshmen from North Carolina, Minnesota and one junior transfer from Pennsylvania.
Tully Super | Wayzata, Minnesota | Holy Family | Freshman
Super comes to High Point as one of two incoming freshmen. He joins the Panthers with an impressive athletic resume. He was All-Conference (2022-2024) and All-State (2023-2024). Super was Mr. Minnesota Finalist (2024), AA Team Champions (2024) and AA Team Runner-Up (2022-2023). He plans to major in business administration.
Shlok Jain | Cary, North Carolina | Green Hope | Freshman
Jain travels to High Point right from Cary, North Carolina. He played junior golf in the US Junior Participant with Medalist Honors (2023) as he placed HV3 Junior Runner-Up (2023). Jain shot 15-under at the AJGA East Potomac Golf Tournament and placed in the top-10 at NC Juniors (2024). For his high school career, he played varsity golf for three years. He was named Southwest Wake Athletic Conference Tournament Champion, TYGA Pinecrest Invitational Second Team (2023), while helping his team to a Conference Title and State Championship Runner-Up (2023). He was a part of the Deca Club in high school. Jain plans to major in computer science.
Carter Pitcairn | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | Wisconsin| Redshirt Junior
Pitcairn attended Wisconsin the past two seasons. In his freshman year, he made his collegiate debut at the Badger Individual Invitational and shot a season average of 77.00. During Pitcairn's sophomore season, he competed in four tournaments in the fall, including two on the team lineup. In the Wrigglesworth Invitational, he placed second and tallied a new career-low 18-hole score of 6. He had a new career-low 36-hole score of 143, competing as an individual. Pitcairn joined the team lineup at the Windon Memorial, where he shot a career-low 54-hole score of 216. Pitcairn finished the season with a 75.64 average (832 strokes / 11 rounds) and had a season and career lows of 69-143-216. Pitcairn capped his career as a Badger with a 75.85 average (986 strokes / 13 rounds).
