DAVIDSON, N.C. — In their second tournament of the fall and first under new High Point University Head Coach
Logan Davis,
Shlok Jain paced the men's golf team with a top-10 individual finish in wet conditions.
The River Run Collegiate was shortened to two rounds due to the rain that dampened the course and created standing water on the greens. As a team, HPU finished ninth while
Charlie Barr finished 11th individually on Tuesday.
Head Coach Logan Davis: "I was super excited to get to my first tournament with the team and to learn more about their games. Unfortunately, the tournament was cut short to 36 holes due to weather; however, I saw a lot of positives out of each player on the team. I believe this team has incredible talent, and I am excited to see how far we can progress. After our first tournament together, I am extremely excited to get to the Rod Meyers Invitational this coming weekend."
