Head Coach Chelsea Banbury: "Really happy to get another win on the road. I think we had a lot of positive contributions from everyone when they got in the game. Shakira and Nakyah did a great job on the boards which was huge for us."

High Point came out of the gate looking for its first basket. It came after two minutes of play as Anna Hager drained a three to get HPU on the board.

Callie Scheier knocked down her first basket from beyond the arc to take an early 10-9 lead. HPU continued to go on a 15-point run to end the first quarter, up 18-9.

High Point never looked back after taking the lead. Going 4-for-4 last game from beyond the arc, Faith Price knocked down another three in the second quarter to extend the lead to 11.

At the end of the first half, HPU held a 35-24 lead after making seven threes as a team.

A little into the third quarter, HPU went on a 7-0 run. Nakyah Terrell, Cydney Johnson, and Hager all grabbed points in that span.

As the clock was winding down in the third, Bevis stormed down the court, stopping at the three-point line and nailing a three to extend the lead to 17. The Buccaneers knocked in a two to send High Point into the fourth quarter up 52-37.

High Point took its largest lead of the game in the fourth quarter as Bevis hit another three to bring the lead to 23. That pushed HPU's total made threes to 12 in the game.

Nakyah Terrell and Shakira Baskerville lead the team in rebounds as Terrell grabbed five, and Baskerville fought for a career high eight boards.
