LOUISVILLE, KY. - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced the 2023 Division I All-Americans, along with the award winners. High Point men's lacrosse defensive specialist, Grant Ammann was named honorable mention for his performance during the 2023 season.

Ammann started all 17 games for the Panthers this season and helped anchored a defense that led the nation in opponent clearing percentage. He also ranked fourth in NCAA Division I with 2.40 caused turnovers per game and totaled 38 caused turnovers on the season. He registered a career-high six caused turnovers at St. Bonaventure. Ammann also picked up 55 ground balls on the season, with a career-high six against Jacksonville. He led HPU to a thrilling 16-14 win over No. 1-seed Saint Joseph's in the Atlantic 10 semifinals with one goal, five ground balls, and two caused turnovers.
 
Ammann ended his career playing in 41 games with 29 starts. He totaled 94 ground balls, 51 caused turnovers and added four goals. Two weeks ago, Ammann was selected by the Cannons in the 2023 Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) College Draft on May 9th, and will begin competition in June.
