The High Point women's lacrosse team stays on the road as they travel to the newly added big south conference foe Furman on Wednesday (April 20). HPU has won five games in a row. The first draw is set for 6:00 pm.

Scored seven goals and had an assist for eight points in the win against Longwood. Then on Saturday she scored 10 goals and had an assist for 11 points against Radford. Hormes recorded 19 points on the week. She is 34 points away from becoming just the sixth player in collegiate history to eclipse 400 career points.

Bedell had two ground balls and a caused turnover in the win against Longwood. She had five ground balls and four caused turnovers and a draw control in the win over Radford.

Baehr had eight ground balls, three caused turnovers, and five draw controls in the win against Longwood. She had three ground balls, two caused turnovers, and four draw controls in the win over Radford.

The Chase for Seven

HPU owns the title to the past four Big South Tournament Championships (2017, 2018, 2019, 2021) after the 2020 Tournament was canceled due to COVID-19. High Point has also been the regular-season Big South champion in each of the past four seasons. In the eight years of the conference championships, the Panthers have claimed five regular-season titles and six tournament titles.
