High Point men's lacrosse will welcome Bellarmine to Vert Stadium on Saturday (Mar. 5) afternoon. The opening faceoff is set for 12 pm. 

Matchup History

  • Tuesday will be the 9th meeting between the Panthers and the Knights
  • HPU holds a 5-3 record against Bellarmine, the Panthers have won five of the six last matchups
  • The Panthers and the Knights met in the 2021 season in which HPU came out on top with a 13-5 victory. Brayden Mayea had three goals and one assist on the day.

The High Point University men's lacrosse team fell to #10 Duke 18-14. In just his second game as Panther, Jack Sawyer exploded for four goals and had an assist. Asher Nolting had eight points with three goals and five assists. Brayden Mayea also had three goals on the night.

Ippolito's Impact

Prior to his senior season, Michael Ippolito had four goals in his career. Through four games he has scored seven goals on the year and had four goals in the win against Navy. 

Since the Beginning of Time

Nolting has recorded at least one point in every college game he has ever played in. He is one of five active DI players to achieve this feat heading into 2022. His goals-assists points line looks like this: 125-170-295.

Hunter Vines received the first All-Southern Conference honor of his career in January. The senior played in all 14 games last season and started in nine, finishing the year with 14 goals and 12 assists. Vines scored two goals in the Panthers 11-9 semifinal win.
