The High Point University men's lacrosse team (6-5) will face the Jacksonville University Dolphins (7-6) in Richmond at Robins Stadium in the Semifinals of the SoCon Tournament on Wednesday (May 5th). The first face-off will take place at 8:00 PM and the game will be live-streamed on ESPN+.

- High Point is 8-2 all-time against Jacksonville. The two teams faced off against each other last time out HPU won 16-11as seven Panthers scored in the win. Brayden Mayea was again the team's leading scorer with five goals in the win. Mayea has scored 11 goals in his last two times out for the Purple & White. Hunter Vines and Kevin Rogers each ended the day with hat tricks scoring three goals in the winning effort. While the Panthers won, Richmond lost to Air Force which gave HPU a share of the SoCon regular-season title.

Panthers Earn All SoCon Honors
Brayden Mayea, Asher Nolting, and Kevin Rogers received All-Southern Conference honors as announced by the conference office on Tuesday (May 4th) morning. Mayea was named to the All SoCon Freshman team while Nolting and Rogers earned First team honors.
Mayea is Your Man, Again!
Mayea earned Big South Offensive Player of the Week honors this week. Mayea was again the team's leading scorer with five goals in the win. Mayea has scored 11 goals in his last two times out for the Purple & White. Mayea has had an outstanding freshman campaign, he currently leads HPU in goals on the season with 31. His five-goal performance on Saturday helped the Panthers clinch a share of the SoCon regular-season title against Jacksonville. His five goals on Saturday gave him the second-most in the SoCon with 31. He leads the SoCon in goals scored by a freshman. He is the second High Point player to receive SoCon regular-season honors this year joining Asher Nolting.Â
Krol on a Roll
Clayton Krol has now gone two weeks in a row with a goal and like his long-range goal two weeks ago against Air Force, his goal against Jacksonville provided great momentum for HPU. Krol fired one in from the restraining line to put HPU up 4-0 in the first quarter.Â
Nolting's National Streak
Asher Nolting has scored a point in every single game of his career. It is a streak that continued Saturday against Jacksonville as he had three points in the win. The streak spans 48 games.
Mr. 250
After amassing 200 points earlier this year, with three points in the game against Jacksonville Nolting recorded his 250th career point in a High Point uniform on Saturday.
