The High Point University's women's lacrosse team returns home to host former NLC foe Davidson (3-1). The Panthers host the Wildcats after a wild snow-covered overtime game against #11 James Madison last Friday. Wednesday's contest will be streamed on ESPN+ with the first draw at 4 PM inside Vert Stadium.

• HPU is 7-2 all-time against Davidson with the Panthers winning four out of the last five matchups.
• The last time the two sides met was in 2016 where Davidson was victorious 12-7.
• The last time the Wildcats made the trip to Vert Stadium was March 15th, 2015 where HPU won 9-7.

• The Wildcats are led on offense by freshman Julianne Carey who has won the A-10 Rookie of the Week honor three weeks in a row. Carey already has 11 points on the season and seven goals.

One Away

Senior Abby Hormes is one goal away from amassing 200 points as a High Point Panther. Hormes is also five goals away from becoming the all-time goal-scoring leader for HPU. 

Mena Helps

Mena Loescher leads HPU in assists with six helpers on the season. Loescher is fourth in the Big South in assists with six. 

Kount on Kyle 

Kaely Kyle had a big game against the Dukes last week as HPU nearly defeated JMU in the snow. Kyle scored two clutch goals down the stretch. Kyle has eight goals on the season so far. 

Drawn to Success 

Megan Nerney already has a team-leading 14 draw controls through three games. Nerney is third in the conference in draw controls.

Spring Break Slate

Next week during HPU's spring break the Panthers will start a two-game road stretch where HPU will face Vanderbilt in Nashville on Sunday (March 7th). Then on Thursday HPU faces Duke in Durham (March 11th).
