The High Point University men's lacrosse team (1-5) returns home to Vert Stadium for the first time since Feb 15. High Point hosts St. Bonaventure (0-4) on Monday afternoon, it is High Point's second weekday game of the season thus far. 
 Matchup History
	- High Point leads the all-time series against the Bonnies 1-0. 
 
	- HPU played the Bonnies last season for their first game in Division I history. The Panthers defeated St. Bonaventure 13-0. It was and still is the only time in program history that HPU has shutout an opponent. Asher Nolting and Ben Baker scored three goals each in the win against the Bonnies last season.
 
 Panther Notes
	- Last time out Nolting led the Panthers in points with five, as the junior added two goals and three assists. He also had two groundballs and caused a turnover. 
 
	- Freshman Tyler Hendrycks leads the team in goals scored with ten heading into the seventh game of the season. 
 
	- Jake Schleppy recorded a season-high four points against Robert Morris, the senior had one goal and three assists.
 
	- Devon Buckshot carried his momentum from UVA into Saturday's game against RMU. Buckshot scored two goals against the colonials, the redshirt freshman has recorded seven goals in his past two games. 
 
	- Nolting finished with five against RMU. Nolting has recorded a point in every game he played in at HPU (36 games). His 36-game streak ranks 14th in the nation. He has 184 points during this steak. He is also currently on a 21-game goal streak with 53 goals scored during this stretch. Nolting is the SOCON's active leader in points.
 
	- High Point just finished up a busy stretch of three games in a calendar week. HPU is set for another packed week with its game against the Bonnies on Monday and then a game against UMBC on the road on Saturday (March 7th).  
 
	- The story of the UVA game was the emergence of redshirt freshman Devon Buckshot who scored five goals in the game against the Cavaliers. Buckshot provided fans plenty of highlights, including a buzzer-beating goal he scored at the end of the third quarter as time expired.
 
	- Nolting was selected to the Tewaaraton watch list for the third year in a row. The only Panther to be selected three times to the Tewaaraton watch list is Dan Lomas. Three Panthers have received this honor that list includes Nolting, Lomas, and Tim Troutner Jr.   
 
	- HPU is first in the SOCON in man-up goals with 16 on the season. The Panthers are averaging 3 man-up goals per contest.  
 
	- According to NCAA Strength of Schedule, HPU has the 14th toughest schedule in the nation this season.
 
	- High Point's roster features players from 21 states and provinces which is tied for second for most states and provinces represented in all of Division I lacrosse. This list includes California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Ontario, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Vermont. 
 
 Across the Bench 
	- St. Bonaventure is in its second season as a Division I program. The Bonnies will be entering their 18th game in their history. St. Bonaventure is still seeking its first win in program history.
 
	- Matthew Degirolamo and Jake Rosa are tied for the lead in goals scored this season on St. Bonaventure with four each. 
 
	- The Bonnie roster includes two seniors and one junior, the rest are freshman and sophomores. 
 
	- Randy Mearns is in his second season as the head coach of St. Bonaventure. Mearns was the head coach of his alma mater Canisius College from 1998-2017. Mearns led team Canada to a gold medal in the 2014 FIL World Championships as their head coach. In 2018 Mearns and Canada won silver.
