The High Point University women's basketball team (13-13, 11-6 Big South) begins a three-game homestand to conclude the regular season schedule on Saturday (Feb. 29) when it hosts Longwood in a Big South Conference matchup.

- High Point earned its second win straight win this past Tuesday (Feb. 25), defeating Presbyterian 79-71.
- Senior Camryn Brown led the team in scoring (23 points), notching her second straight game scoring at least 20 points, her fourth such game in the last five.
- Curran recorded her fifth double-double after dropping 19 points and grabbing 10 boards.
- Redshirt freshman Jenson Edwards played all 40 minutes on Tuesday, the ninth occasion that a Panther has been credited with 40 minutes of playing time this season.
- The Panthers 20 assists on Tuesday were the fourth time this season HPU has had at least 20 helpers in a contest.
- HPU's eight turnovers on Tuesday was tied for second-fewest on the year and third game below ten.
- Senior Olivia VanSlooten is nearing her 100th career game, entering Saturday with 98 games played in her career in the Purple and White.

- Longwood has a 6-11 record in conference play to sit eighth in the standings, a half-game ahead of Presbyterian and currently are in position to host a first round game in the Big South Tournament.
- The Lancers are currently in a six-game losing streak, having most recently lost to Winthrop 63-60 on Tuesday. Freshman Kyla McMakin led Longwood with 17 points.
- McMakin leads Longwood with 18.4 points per game, who is the leading scorer in the conference.
- Dayna Rouse is second in scoring with 14.9 ppg (seventh in the Big South), while leading the team in rebounds with 7.1 boards a game.
- Longwood has the highest scoring offense in the Big South averaging 67.5 points a game, however, are 11th in scoring defense at 69.6.
