HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The High Point University men's soccer team has announced its five-game spring schedule, as announced by head coach

The Panthers will begin their schedule on Wednesday, Feb. 26 when they take on professional side Richmond Kickers of the USL League One at 7 p.m. They will see a familiar face on the opposing side as recent alumnus
Jonathan Bolanos signed with Richmond this winter.

The schedule continues when HPU welcomes Queens University of Charlotte to Vert Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 29 at 4 p.m. The Royals, an NCAA DII program in the South Atlantic Conference, are coming off of an 11-7-1 season where they went 7-2 in conference play and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. In the tournament, falling to No. 2-ranked Lynn in the second round.

High Point will take on College of Charleston on Saturday, April 4 in the Manchester Cup, which is one of the biggest spring tournaments in the region. The Manchester Cup hosts an elite group of both youth and high school soccer talents from around the southeast and is hosted by nearby USL League 2 affiliated Discoveries Soccer Club at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C.

The Panthers round out the road portion of their schedule on Saturday, April 18 when they travel to UNC Wilmington. The Seahawks are coming off of a 12-5-2 campaign where they went 7-0-1 in CAA play, falling in the conference championship to James Madison, 1-0, in double overtime.

The spring schedule concludes on Tuesday, April 21 when HPU hosts NCAA DII foe Lenoir-Rhyne at Vert Stadium under the lights at 7 p.m. The Bears are coming off of a 7-9-1 record where they went 4-5-1 in SAC play.
