HIGH POINT, N.C. -- High Point University men's soccer senior standout
Jonathan Bolanos has signed his first professional contract on Monday (Jan. 27) with USL league One's Richmond Kickers.

Bolanos was a mainstay at midfield in his four years with High Point, appearing in 74 matches for the Panthers with 61 of those being starts. His decorated career includes two Big South All-Conference selections, a program record two game-winning goals and a program-tying record for goals (4) and points (8) in a game.

High Point had five players in the USL last season, including
Rashid Tetteh,
Johnny Fenwick and
Ryeong Choi. All whom were teammates of Bolanos during their back-to-back Big South regular season championships in 2017 and 2018. Â

Richmond kicks off its season at home against Forward Madison FC, after finishing the season in ninth place in the USL League One Eastern Conference.
